2027 I Am America Publishing Contest: In honor of America’s 250th anniversary celebration, students have the opportunity to have their work published in an anthology which celebrates a person who inspires them and helps tell the story of America. Through fiction, nonfiction, poetry, letters, or artwork, you may explore someone from history, someone in your family or community, or your own experiences that shape your understanding of America. Your submission must include one or more of the Medal of Honor values: Courage, Sacrifice, Commitment, Integrity, Citizenship, or Patriotism, and show through your work how those values guided the actions, decisions, or contributions of the person or ideal you chose to highlight.
